Ethics

Copyright

It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that they have obtained any necessary permission from copyright holders for reproducing any illustrations, tables, figures or lengthy quotations previously published elsewhere.

IJBETS refuses publication of submitted articles that have issues of copyright infringement. It is the responsibility of the author to ensure that the paper is free from such breach of warranty. The author indemnifies the editor and publisher against any legal liability that may arise and holds himself fully responsible for any litigation in relation to the submitted paper. Submitting articles to this publication means that the author/s is amenable to the stipulated copyright agreement.

Plagiarism

In the interest of the authors and the protection of the reputation of the journal against malpractice, IJBETS reserves the right to investigate claims of plagiarism or misuse of published articles through its in-house similarity checker. In case of plagiarized work or copyright infringement, or where the authorship of the submitted work is contested, the journal shall take the following actions (whichever may apply): publishing an erratum or corrigendum (correction); taking down the article; bringing the matter to the attention of the concerned academic affiliate for action or taking appropriate legal action.
