Abstract
There is a significant commercial impact that the COVID-19 pandemic brought to businesses. In the wake of the pandemic, Micro-enterprises struggle to operate their business more than before. This research study fills the gap in determining the level of factors influencing resiliency and level of business resiliency of Micro-enterprises and the significant relationship between the former and the latter with the end view of proposing a business continuity plan. Through the quantitative research design, we, the researchers, venture the respondents by quota purposive sampling, which is non-probability. Using a survey questionnaire with two (2) parts; the first part is about the level of factors influencing the resiliency of Micro-enterprises, which is self- structured, while the second part is about the level of business resiliency wherein relevant statements indicated were adapted to measure the level of resilience of Micro-enterprises. The researchers also interviewed to ascertain the challenges that Micro-enterprises experienced in the aftermath of COVID-19. Responses were analyzed using mean, composite mean, standard deviation, and Pearson correlation coefficients. This study shows a significant relationship between the level of business resilience on factors influencing the resiliency of Micro-enterprises in terms of entrepreneurial characteristics, utilization of technology, and crisis management. However, government support was concluded as insignificant. Furthermore, the main challenge that Micro- enterprises encounter is low income or decreased sales due to loss of customers and customers shifting to online buying. The business continuity plan provides assumptions, plans, assessed risks, and training and review dates to help strengthen Micro- enterprises' resilience in the aftermath of COVID-19.
